EDUCATIONAL TOURISM
Another strand of work in Sambaqui Farm is the environmental education. Elementary, Middle and High School students are received in the low season period, receiving information about the mangrove ecosystem, protected areas, botany, zoology and mariculture.
They also gain a sense of group dynamics that underscores the interdependence between man and environment, contributing to environmental awareness and facilitating the uptake of school programs. Activities and corporate group meetings are also carried out.
